I was the external examiner for Catherine Cronin’s PhD today. She’s an excellent scholar and passed. Was nice to be away from the OU for a couple of days as it goes into meltdown

I’m in Galway for a couple of days to do a PhD viva. Did some work and then went for a pleasant walk along the front.

Our player coach retired from being a player tonight with one final game. In a fairy tale ending he scored with 20 seconds left on the clock.
Bring me sunshine
With spring officially starting we had some decent sunshine today, which meant bruno could assume his favourite position of sleeping on the sofa, bathed in sunlight

Championship night
We celebrated being back to back champions tonight after the game. Feel lucky to be a Devils fan during this time.

The Devils clinched the league title tonight in Belfast (with 4 games still to go). I couldn’t make it over so watched the webcast.
Working for the clampdown
I’ve been working up in Manchester for a few days – had a short lunch break today so popped to this second hand vinyl shop nearby

The devils had an easy win over the Edinburgh Caps tonight. It means the title is almost ours
Varsity match
We went to see Cardiff Uni play Swansea tonight in ice hockey. It ended in an exciting third period with Cardiff winning in overtime
