Ed tech gathering
Josie Fraser was doing a keynote in Cardiff so joined Dave & Bonnie at my house tonight. For a moment my little village was an epicentre of ed tech expertise.
Dr Who
Dave Cormier & Bonnie Stewart came to visit today with their children so we went to the Dr Who exhibition
Payback
We played the Nottingham Panthers tonight – last time we played them we lost 8-0. They were a bit short benched tonight & after recent victory in Europe not as fussed about the league, so it was more likely to go our way. The Devils won 5-0, getting our first shut out of the season.
Set sail in turquoise days
I bought my favourite Bunnymen album online the other day. To my surprise it was a blue vinyl copy
The distribution of power
Can’t think why, but the distribution of power has been on my mind a lot lately…
Atmospheric
This morning’s run by the canal was all misty & atmospheric
This is what you get
Had a meeting at OU Wales today but forgot to take a pic. But did pick up this vinyl – I’ve only ever owned it on cd before, didn’t realise it was a double album.
Project planning
Met Simon Horrocks & Eric Stoller in town tonight for tapas and to discuss a social media project
End of training
I’m doing the Gloucester marathon on the 5th. Today was my last long run (I should be tapering but felt I needed the confidence of one more long run). 18 miles up past Ponty. This was the turning point. These long runs pretty much wipe me out for a couple of hours afterwards. Now onto the tapering and short easy runs for a couple of weeks.
