The rain falls hard on a humdrum town
I don’t really think Manchester is humdrum btw. Long day working so when we were released at 6 I went to the cinema to see Life. Not a classic film but tense & enjoyable
Why do you come here?
In the hotel all the rooms are named after Manchester musicians – Gallagher, Ryder, Squires, etc

Manchester
I’m in Manchester for a week working. It’s a long day each day, so only popped out briefly tonight. Expect photos of my hotel room for a week
Spring arrives
Third sunny day in a row, did my long run up the taff trail this morning
Trophies
The Cardiff Devils had the league (on the left) & challenge cup trophies on display tonight. We also won a third tonight – the conference trophy which doesn’t mean that much but makes it 3 out 3 so far, with the playoffs in two weeks time.
St Fagans
Took a couple of hours out today to go to St Fagans museum of Welsh life. They moved old buildings and rebuilt them here. This is an 18th century school.
Cardiff meeting
Had a meeting in Cardiff today with two fab people – Josie Fraser & Maren Deepwell. Afterwards we went to the pub
Beech forest
This is Fforest Fawr by Castell Coch. There are not many beech forests left and this is reputedly the [url=https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castell_Coch_Woodlands_and_Road_Section]most westerly [/url]one (I don’t know why that’s significant but let’s roll with it)
