Karlstad uni
I gave a talk here this morning & then a workshop this afternoon. Then flight back to Heathrow via Stockholm & drive back to Cardiff. Long day but productive

I flew to Sweden today to give a workshop at the university of Karlstad tomorrow. Was lovely sunny day and had meal by the river with my colleague Jorg from the university here. We connected over a mutual love of ice hockey

Principal fellow
I got my award of Principal Fellow of HEA today – it’s a laborious process to be honest. But worthwhile in the end as it seems to be something increasingly recognised. It was also quite an interesting process reflecting on your career

I have this tree in a corner of my garden & a garden sofa underneath it – this evening was perfect for sitting in its shade with a beer

Daughter had exam today so we went down Cardiff bay tonight to have an ice cream in the sun
