At each Cardiff Devils game we put £1 each in the purse with a score prediction. We’ve been terrible so the pot now stood at £76. With tonight’s 6-3 win over Milton Keynes, I won it finally.

City game
Went to see Cardiff City play Preston North End tonight. It was a pretty dire game, with City losing by a goal scored in the last minute.
Shopping
I braved going into a very busy Cardiff City centre today. Got a good selection of clothes in the sales & picked up these albums cheap
Coventry away trip
Our annual Christmas trip up to Coventry to see the Devils play today. We won a hard fought game 3-2, after winning on penalties last night. After being woeful last season it’s good to see Coventry competing again.
By order of the peaky blinders
Daughter & I are fans of Peaky Blinders (and swearing). I gave her some Christmas money in this card, because I’m good at parenting. Hope you had a good Christmas if you celebrate it

I only have to wrap presents for daughter but I manage to do it badly. Presents are now under the tree.

After an excellent 4 point weekend against the Steelers and Braehead, the devils did their annual autograph session tonight with the whole team.

Star Wars
Saw The Last Jedi tonight. I enjoyed it but not as much as Rogue One. Daughter loved it – it’s interesting to see a new generation claim their own versions of Star Wars.
