Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) are all the rage now. By chance I found this old t-shirt from about 5 years ago. I had forgotten it bore this legend. I’m not sure what MOOKs were in this context, but I like the idea of being agrophobic – by which I guess they mean against aggression. Or maybe not. Anyway, this t-shirt proves that I invented MOOCs.

Singleton Abbey
had a meeting in Singleton Abbey at Swansea Uni this morning. Outside there are two statues of rather friendly looking dogs standing proud. I have no idea why.
Swansea University
I am presenting to the learning & teaching directors of welsh universities at Swansea tomorrow, there is a meal tonight. This is one of the buildings in the rather eclectic mix of Swansea campus
Morning light
There was a lovely soft morning light on these grasses and flowers (which I completely failed to capture).
Arachnid at work
This spider spent a busy few minutes constructing a web between a bay tree and a chair.
Copter
Not the most environmentally friendly way to travel
The Cav
Mark Cavendish and Team Sky come past in the Tour of Britain which finished near me in Caerphilly today. Great turnout, it had a real Le Tour feel.
Running man
Got some new running kit today – OMM trail tights, OMM base layer and some trail socks. Ready for the winter training now. I don’t actually have to go out and do it, do I?
M4 sunset
Not a good photo today (no change there) – was an amazing sunset as I drove home today, but only had iPhone with me.
A pile of bricks
remember that work of modern art that resembled a pile of bricks? This is a pile of bricks (in the OU car park) that kind of resembles a work of art.
