My daughter loves horses and liked approaching the new forest ponies, although she did so with appropriate caution.

What drought?
It rained all day today – raindrops on our garden table
Bounty
My daughter doesn’t believe in the easter bunny anymore (sorry if that’s a spoiler), but she doesn’t see why this should prevent a good easter egg hunt.
Drought!
Actually, up by the quarry by us, the clay there dries out quickly, so no need to panic
A small memorial
Tied to a post on Garth hill. What with it being Good Friday and all, I thought I’d do a blip in theme, even if it’s not my bag personally.
New tree
I don’t do much gardening (unless one counts picking up dog poo), but my dad bought me this tree when we moved in and it’s been sitting in a pot waiting to be planted. So last weekend I finally planted it, and it seems to be coming into leaf nicely. It is a Robinia pseudoacacia ‘Frisia’ apparently.
Meta photo a day
I did a session at the OU today called “What I learnt from a photo a day” with Juliette Culver. So this is a photo of the day about a photo a day.
Pint with head
mmm, beer
Tree wart
Is there a name for these lumps that grow on the side of trees? And what causes them?
Sunny Taff
On days like today, the Taff reminds me of the Dordogne. Although with fewer naked people swimming in it than when I last kayaked down there.
