Have been toying with growing a beard. I’m not sure if this counts as one yet (Nigel told me off for claiming beard with a weaker effort). I get to this stage and then it gets itchy and I shave it off, so I think this is peak beard for me.

Loch Ness selfie
Well not a selfie, daughter took it. We walked down to the Loch this evening, it was a pleasant evening, if still rather chilly.
I haz glasses
Got some glasses today. I have one long-sighted and one short-sighted eye, so they kind of balance each other out, but I do find working on the computer for long periods a strain, so these are ‘reading’ glasses.

I don’t do self portraits very often. Time to shave off a week’s growth. Shaving is a funny business isn’t it?
Atop Little Rough Tor
We are on holiday in Cornwall, staying on Bodmin moor. My daughter is horseriding so Sarah and I went for a 10 mile run around the moor with Pip. There are some stunning rock formations, here I am on top of one called Little Rough Tor.
Snowy run
Did an 8.5 mile run today with Sarah around Cwmcarn. It’s still snowy on top of the mountain & that wind was chilly.

Pendleton post
Had a family meal near my parents’ place last night. British cyclist [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victoria_Pendleton]Victoria Pendleton[/url] is from the village (Stotfold). The post office are painting a post box gold in the home town of every gold medal winner, so after the curry we tracked down this one. Photo taken by my brother as he had a flash on his phone.
