I’m on leave this week. Was still recovering from the game last night so felt a bit knackered, but got out for a 12.5 mile run. Had a meeting about a new OER project this afternoon and then sat in the garden for a bit reading in the sunshine.

Books & flowers
One of those days where you have lots of online meetings, work till 7 and then realise you’ve barely been outside. Here are some flowers and books anyway
Da art
Bought myself some of da art – gone all abstract expressionism
Sunflowers
Arrogant sods aren’t they?
Hawk(s)
During half term daughter painted these letters (for the Blackhawks). She didn’t get to finish the S, so now they sit on the kitchen table, waiting.
Pandemic
Daughter and I started playing Pandemic at the weekend. We like a board game, but this had way too many rules. “If it’s a Thursday, draw an extra card and hide it in your pants”. That kind of thing.
Indoor jungle
To my surprise the fern in my downstairs loo is still going strong two years after purchase.
In rainbows
These are the rainbow tulip bundle
Al and Nucky
This is Al & Nucky. Yes I named my goldfish after characters in Boardwalk Empire
Shark tank
My shark tank complete with actual volcano has been restocked recently. Now just waiting for a spy to feed to them
