View over Wastwater
We went up Scafell Pike today – it is a very busy route up, just because everyone wants to do the highest peak in england whereas neighbouring peaks that are only a few metres shorter are empty.
A welcome sight
This is the Wasdale head Inn at the end of the valley. There is nothing else here.
Guard dog
We are staying in a gypsy caravan for a few days in the Langdales in the Lake District before moving on to Wasdale Head. Here our border terrier does guard duty
