I did a 3 course meal from the Rappers Delight Cookbook today for Easter (each dish is a pun on a rappers name). These LL Cool Soufflés turned out pretty well

admin — Sat, 11 Nov 2017 00:00:00 +0000

Made a bloomer loaf today – could have done with few mins longer as it was a bit dense still.

It’s been a chilly couple of days so cooked a nice warming lamb stew tonight. Turned out pretty well

Went into town with daughter today – we had a meal at a place called Steak of the Art, then went to see The Death of Stalin.

Dinner

admin — Mon, 16 Oct 2017 00:00:00 +0000

Had a day in meetings & presenting then a few of us went to the Keg for some fine steak. We got a hotel sorted but at about 3 times the price – I expect some wrangling will commence with the travel agent when we return.

Ritter Sport

admin — Fri, 01 Sep 2017 00:00:00 +0000

I love a Ritter Sport so was delighted to hear of a Ritter Sport shop in Berlin. You can make your own bars, and choose from all the flavours you never knew you wanted.

admin — Sun, 30 Jul 2017 00:00:00 +0000

Picked the first blackberries off my bush today – will freeze these and hopefully get enough for jam later

BBQ

admin — Sat, 22 Jul 2017 00:00:00 +0000

The rain held off for about a 4 hour window today perfectly timed for the barbecue. It was with the hockey crowd as we miss talking about ice hockey in the off season so get together to discuss transfers, make predictions and the like

BBQ try out

admin — Thu, 20 Jul 2017 00:00:00 +0000

Bought a new BBQ which we assembled last week. Got some gas today and tried it out in preparation for a BBQ on Saturday (when naturally it is forecast to rain heavily)
