The Easter weekend weather looks to be turning a bit grim
Well, hills really
There have been reports of heatwaves across the country. Not in Wales. Yesterday it rained so hard that daughter got sent home from school (there was a fire alarm & they all got soaked). Today on my morning run there was a brief spell of sunshine then it just sort of clouded over. So this photo represents the past couple of days – teasing glimpses of sunshine
I took Bruno to Ogmore beach today. It was a stormy day so it’d be fairly quiet I thought. But I had managed to coincide my visit with a Dachshund club meeting. There were hundreds of the yappy little beasts. Bruno was most perplexed as they all growled and snarled at him. Then it rained so heavily I thought I might cry. We came home
This is the Garth, which is not really a mountain. Today we had sunshine, rain, hail, maybe some snow, on a repeat cycle.
After 4 months of just miserable, dour rain there are now some hints that other weather is possible. Spring may yet come
We did the gangster tour today & went to a sports museum. More importantly – it snowed! It felt like authentic Chicago in proper, blowing in your face snow.
Storm Imogen hit today – it was wheelie bin Armageddon.
Winter continues to be the season where it rains slightly more than the rest of the year. Saw this sad bedraggled scarf out on run today. It’s like a comment on how winter is compared to how it should be.
