We started shovelling the road last night and this morning all our neighbours joined in. We all had a good chat and the road was cleared in an hour or so.
We have to then get out of another road to get onto the main one so daughter & went up to the salt bin and did a few trips gritting the road. So tomorrow we should be able to get out.
Snowmaggedon continues. We walked to Asda today as no cars were getting out of the village. Stocked up on some supplies, so ready to see out the rest now.
After everywhere else getting snow it hit South Wales with a vengeance this morning. Snowed pretty solidly all day, we went to the pub and found the entire village in there. Went out later to see how much had settled- reminded me of the winters of my youth.
I’ve had enough of winter and trudging through mud – bring on spring
We went ice skating and on the big wheel in winter wonderland tonight
River Taff always looks pretty in autumn. Had my first run since marathon today – was bit stiff but felt good to get out again
I really love autumn, it’s my season. I don’t think i could live in a country that doesn’t really have it. Anyway, lots of online meetings today but managed to get Bruno out in the clear autumnal light
I think I take a version of this photo every year as autumn comes to the OU campus
Stormy night last night and my run route was blocked in a couple of places by downed trees
