Headed home today after a great brace of conferences but glad to be heading home now.
I popped out from the conference over lunch to visit the Art Gallery of Ontario. There was an O’Keefe exhibition which was very good & of course lots of Canadian art. This is an Emily Carr painting
I went to see the Blue Jays play Tampa Bay tonight with 3 pals. It wasn’t a great game and Toronto lost, but was a fun night
We had a session from a leadership guru today. It really wasn’t my thing I’m afraid. But then had some excellent discussions with colleagues. This is the maze of wisdom – I’m probably lost in it somewhere
We’re about an hour out of Toronto at a place called Kings City. There’s not much here but I went for a run this morning. I passed this old prairie Methodist cemetery from 1858
Flew to Toronto today for Hewlett Grantees meeting & then Creative Commons conference. Got a free upgrade to premium economy (must have been my winning smile right?)
Some very pretty jazz vinyl from yesterday’s haul
Daughter & I went into Spillers Records for record store day, they had DJs playing all day. Blips of vinyl will probably feature on slow days
