It seems like someone retires on a weekly basis at the moment. This nearly always involves cake. When I go (hopefully not for another 15 years or so) I will bring in a bucket of biscuits
Oh, ok, not really. I think this is part of the old canal, but I like the way it is being reclaimed by the forest. Reminded me of the wall in King Kong.
Some welcome September sunshine meant we took Brandy and Sandy out today. Don’t worry, Sandy wasn’t walked like this, I held her, but this was just for the photo.
This tunnel goes under the M4.
A while ago I reported that Sandy had been unwell, but seemed to have pulled through. Well, she’s back to being unwell again, I fear we may be approaching the end. Here Pip sits on her for comfort.

Stayed at my parents last night, and so did early morning run from there. Passed this WW1 monument on the way back
In the hub there was a fresh fish stall today. Fish have a slightly evil look out of water I fancy.
An old bridge near the canal, I don’t often go down this route, but looked quite picturesque today.
