Sarah finished the CCC in 24 hours. She vowed never again. By Monday she was talking about her strategy for next year.
We went up the Montevers mer de glace glacier today. There are steps leading down to a cave and someone broke their foot descending and had to be airlifted out. We had a good view of the dramatic rescue
We’re in Chamonix as Sarah is doing the CCC. This is the view from our apartment of Aguille du Midi & Mont Blanc

Daughter did a show down her stables today, Here she is waiting for her turn to be inspected.
Pip is a border terrier and you have to have these hand-stripped, not clipped when their fur gets too bushy. She was done today, here she is looking all lean. She is taking a break from writing her autobiography.
There is a lovely panoramic view of the sunset from our holiday cottage in St Breward
Look it’s all sepia it must be authentic
We are on holiday in Cornwall, staying on Bodmin moor. My daughter is horseriding so Sarah and I went for a 10 mile run around the moor with Pip. There are some stunning rock formations, here I am on top of one called Little Rough Tor.
